Juha Kouvalainen is a versatile comic book author from Kuopio. He is an illustrator and graphic and digital media professional who is known for his Urban Leap comic strip, but also as the founder of the Finnish Kvaak.fi comics portal. His work has been published in Ilta-Sanomat, Turun Sanomat, Maaseudun Tulevaisuus, Kainuun Sanomat, and Iisalmen Sanomat, as well as many other smaller local newspapers, as part of business and community publications, and in various online environments.
