We have in­tro­duced a new elec­tron­ic sys­tem that al­lows cus­tomers to en­ter of­fer re­quests and purchase or­ders.

In the new sys­tem, or­der ap­pro­val oc­curs elec­tron­i­cal­ly, while pre­vi­ous­ly all cus­tomer con­tracts were made on pa­per us­ing tra­di­tio­n­al mail, fax or email.

The new sys­tem speeds up or­ders by sev­er­al days and re­duces en­vi­ron­men­tal im­pacts since no print­ing is ne­ces­sary. Re­quest­ing one of­fer for sev­er­al publi­ca­tions from the same pub­lish­er (i.e. bun­dle of­fers) is now pos­si­ble as well, pro­vid­ing sig­ni­f­i­cant cost sav­ings for cus­tomers. Bun­dle of­fer re­quests will en­joy at­trac­tive vol­ume dis­counts.

Us­ing the sys­tem is straight­for­ward. Un­der each com­ic strip (e.g. here) is a Re­quest a quote but­ton, which you can click to ac­cess the of­fer re­quest form.

When we re­ceive an of­fer re­quest, we can cal­cu­late a quote im­me­di­ate­ly be­cause the sys­tem en­sures that the of­fer re­quest al­ways has the ne­ces­sary in­for­ma­tion ready and no se­parate cor­re­spon­dence is ne­ces­sary.

Along with the of­fer, the cus­tomer will be pro­vid­ed with a user­name to log in to the sys­tem and ap­prove the or­der.
